What constitutes a group?  The definition varies with the vendor, but normally a group of is defined as a minimum of 8 (or more) paying travelers all booked under either: one client’s name; or one company’s name; or one school, club, team, or other organization’s name.

What are the benefits of group travel? Groups are generally afforded somewhat better rates, and may be offered a list of other possible special travel benefits not provided to non-group travelers. In general, the larger the group, the greater the special group benefit opportunities.

Can you provide examples of groups?  Sports teams, large or extended families traveling together, a number of professional or business people traveling and/or meeting together, and “affinity groups” which are defined as a number of individuals with a common interest traveling and/or meeting together, (examples might include: chess players, golfers, knitters, computer programmers, or various types of clubs and organizations, and much more).
